Volunteer Bond
The Nitehawk Alpine Ski Team is a non-profit organization. In order to keep program costs affordable and allow the Team to operate, we ask you as members, to support all Team fundraising and events throughout the season.
Each program has a pre-requisite of volunteer hours to be completed by each family. Hours required will be outlined Nitehawk Alpine Ski Team handbook that is available online on our website.
A separate undated cheque for $250 must be submitted by the first day of skiing for each child in the program up to $500. This is the volunteer bond cheque. Please make the cheque payable to Nitehawk Alpine Ski Team, this cheque will be returned or destroyed upon completion of volunteer hours.
There a number of events that parents can volunteer for through out the season. Some of the upcoming events have already been confirmed and some are tentative pending approval. Past events that parents helped out with included: the annual fall Pub Night and Auction, course set up and volunteering as race officials for the Edge to Edge Ski Race, chaperone and designated driver for ski races away from Nitehawk, casino positions, 50/50 ticket sales at Hockey games, bottle drives, selling ticket for the Dream Home Lottery and Cars for Cash Christmas Lottery. These are just some of the examples of the exciting events that parents can volunteer for during the ski season.
Every racer family is expected to sell one pre-paid book of NAST Lottery Tickets at $125 per book.

Registration Payment Installment Options

NOTE - ALL FEES must be paid by " First Day on Snow"

NAST Refund Policy
If a refund is requested prior to “first day on snow”, the following will be deducted:
- 10% administration fee based on program fee paid
- Alberta Alpine fee (if already submitted)
If a refund is requested after “first day on snow” but prior to January 1st, the following will be deducted:
- 10% administration fee based on program fee paid
- Alberta Alpine fee
- If cash raffle tickets received, no refund will be provided (if applicable)
No refunds will be issued after January 1st unless a medical note is provided for an injury sustained, which does not allow your racer to continue to ski. At that point the refund will be pro-rated less the 10% administration fee/Alberta Alpine fee and cash raffle ticket fee (if applicable).
The Board of Directors will use their discretion when dealing with extenuating circumstances (ex: moving away, etc) for refund requests.
